just stopping by to say "hi.".

to say the least may through june has been a little "busy."

here's a quick run down:

prepped the condo for our renters.

hubby left for mexico.

i left shortly after to fly out to cali with the kiddos for a wedding.

met up with hubby in san diego.

wedding.

flew back.

packed/prepped condo some more.

(fyi navajo white from benjamin moore is not the same navajo white from 4 years ago.  this was not pleasing to hubby as he had to paint entire walls, mind you we have a vaulted ceiling, rather than just a few small coverups.)  paint fail.

failed inspection.

finished bathroom.   (i probably should have taken pics, hubby did a fantastic job...again.)

passed inspection.  (two chimney cracks, a permit-less water heater, and $1000 later.)

unload into new house.

packing up fil and sil's belongings....still much to be done here.

it will be august before i actually unload our stuff.  sigh.

overwhelmed doesn't begin to describe how i feel.  but, i can say a year, two years, 10 years from now it will be totally worth the amount of energy we need to put into our new home.  it is a great neighborhood.  the next door neighbor's kids absolutely love natalie.  and we love them just as much.

plus, we have a fire pit.  score.

as we are now officially living in the pine barrens there are a few things that you must do to become an official "piney:"

1) you must let the kids strip down to their diaper/undies and play in the nearest mud puddle.  check.

2) see 1.

i'm pretty sure we need a pick-up truck to fit in around here, but the routan and gti will have to do for now.

if my phone wasn't dead i would have totally added pics.  believe me, i know, i hate picture less blog posts, too.

please accept my apology.

pictures coming soon.

good night.

jill
